During law school, she volunteered at a domestic violence clinic, where she helped victims obtain protection orders and visas, and worked with clients on designing safety plans. She also provided pro bono representation for victims as a volunteer attorney for the King County Bar Association's Family Law Mentor Program.

When she's not working, Eleanor enjoys playing the piano, skiing, and ice skating.
