Holly Lynch is an accomplished civil litigator with extensive experience in a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters and is the co-chair of Keller Rohrback's Commercial Litigation practice group.  

Holly has successfully represented corporations and municipalities in both state and federal court. She has handled a wide variety of complex civil cases, including contract disputes and matters involving allegations of business torts, premises liability, products liability, professional malpractice, False Claims Act violations, and personal injury. Holly also represents individuals and health care entities in licensing board administrative proceedings. 

Prior to joining Keller Rohrback in 2011, Holly worked for more than five years as a civil litigation attorney in the Seattle area. Before entering private practice, Holly served as a law clerk to the Honorable Marywave Van Deren in the Washington State Court of Appeals.

Representative Matters

Holly’s recent matters have included representing clients in matters involving:

  • Appeal of dismissal of wrongful death premises liability claims brought against commercial property owner client.  Prevailed before the Court of Appeals as well as the Washington Supreme Court, which accepted review and affirmed the dismissal of all claims. 
  • Commercial dispute on behalf of IT consulting firm against two members of its senior management team who secretly formed a competing company and solicited clients.  Following a two week trial, obtained seven-figure jury award in client’s favor.
  • Qui Tam claims against municipality alleging multi-million dollars in damages. Obtained dismissal on summary judgment as well as six-figure attorney fee award on client’s behalf with the Federal District Court noting that “the work resulted in high quality briefing and oral argument and lead to complete success on the merits.”
  • Professional malpractice and alleged violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against health care practitioner related to opinions rendered in civil detainment proceedings. Obtained CR 12(b)(6) dismissal of all claims and prevailed before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which affirmed dismissal. 
  • Premises liability claims against property management firm alleging $10 million in damages. Obtained dismissal on summary judgment.Commercial dispute alleging $50 million in damages for alleged breach of contract and business torts. Collaborated with multi-firm legal team to obtain dismissal of 16 claims.
