Case Status
Keller Rohrback has been appointed by the Court to the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee in multidistrict litigation against parts maker ZF-TRW and various auto manufacturers, where consumer plaintiffs allege that defective Airbag Control Units in approximately 12.3 million vehicles may cause airbags to fail to inflate in the event of a crash.
On April 14, 2025, Hon. Judge John A. Kronstadt of the United States District Court for the Central District of California granted preliminary approval of a settlement with Hyundai and Kia valued at over $62 million. The Court previously granted final approval of settlements with the Toyota and Mitsubishi defendants.
