Our Commitment to Diversity

Keller Rohrback is committed to creating, nurturing, and preserving a culture rooted in recognizing and celebrating our differences. We endeavor to attract, develop, and retain outstanding staff and attorneys from communities that have been historically, and that remain, underrepresented at all levels of the legal profession. And we strive to support those outstanding team members once they’re here. This commitment makes us a stronger law firm and a better employer.

What Does a Culture of Inclusion, Recognizing, and Celebrating our Differences Mean at Keller Rohrback?

Keller Rohrback celebrates the similarities and differences between individuals, accounting for all aspects of one’s personality and individual identity. We embrace the wide range of lived experiences, identities, and diversity of thought among our team. Our focus is on differences that have been and remain underrepresented at all levels in the legal profession.

Keller Rohrback seeks to ensure that our team members have access to opportunities. We strive to eliminate barriers that discourage participation by individuals from historically underrepresented communities, and to actively support their professional development.

Keller Rohrback aims to foster an environment in which all members feel involved and empowered to contribute. We actively seek out and welcome diverse perspectives.

Diversity Committee and Affinity Groups

Keller Rohrback’s Diversity Committee is composed of a mix of attorneys and staff across the firm’s various offices and is responsible for developing and advancing firm diversity initiatives. The committee seeks to:

  • Engage firm leadership in DEI efforts.
  • Develop programs that align with the firm’s efforts to create, nurture, and retain a culture rooted in diversity.
  • Develop internal and external programs to promote the hiring and retention of candidates from underrepresented constituencies.

Keller Rohrback also has the following affinity and ally groups:

  • LGBTQ+ Affinity & Allyship Group
  • POC Affinity Group
  • POC Allyship Group

Diversity Fellowship

Keller Rohrback’s Diversity Fellowship provides paid summer associate positions for students who have recently completed their first year of law school. Students with backgrounds historically underrepresented in the practice of law are strongly encouraged to apply.

The program is designed to immerse Fellows in training experiences and challenging legal work as well as promote the formation of lasting connections with our attorneys and staff. Fellows have the opportunity to work with a variety of lawyers and staff at the firm, including in the firm’s Complex Litigation Department, which focuses on large-scale, plaintiffs’-side public impact litigation.

Ongoing Diversity Education and Programs

In addition to the Firm’s Diversity Fellowships, Keller Rohrback facilitates ongoing education for all attorneys and staff. In addition to annual firm-wide training, the firm has engaged various speakers on Diversity and Inclusion, including Caprice Hollins (Cultures Connecting), Judy Hissong (Nesso Strategies), and Dr. Isaiah Pickens (iOpening Enterprises). The Diversity Committee is responsible for promoting and sharing educational materials year-round.

In 2025, Keller Rohrback initiated a Heritage Month Giving Initiative, a dedicated program through which we will give back to our communities. At the heart of our firm’s culture is a strong commitment to community service and the belief that giving back is essential to upholding our core values. Through this program, we aim to connect with organizations that are making a meaningful impact, reflecting our ongoing dedication to community and service in the regions where we have offices.
