Keller Rohrback is pleased to announce that on March 23, 2022, Judge William Campbell of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee granted final approval of a settlement in the Stringer et al. v. Nissan North America concerning faulty Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) in 2014 – 2018 Nissan Rogues, 2015 – 2018 Nissan Pathfinders, and 2015 – 2018 Infinity QX60s. The Settlement provides reimbursement for certain expenses relating to repair or replacement of faulty CVT transmissions, and extends the factory warranty on class vehicles by two years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Ryan McDevitt, Keller Rohrback partner and member of the court-appointed Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee, said: “we believe that this settlement provides valuable and timely relief to class members, and are pleased that the Court has granted final approval.”
