JPML Sends VW Lawsuits to San Francisco

The lawsuits recently filed against Volkswagen were consolidated on December 8th and transferred to the Northern District of California, which is in San Francisco. The Honorable Charles R. Breyer, a respected and practiced judge, will be overseeing the litigation.

“Judge Breyer is an outstanding jurist, who will no doubt manage the cases efficiently and effectively.  We look forward to working cooperatively with other attorneys in the Northern District of California to serve our clients and the class,” said Lynn Sarko, managing partner at Keller Rohrback.

The next step for the case involves the court appointing lead attorneys to guide the case on behalf of the plaintiffs. Keller Rohrback will be applying for a leadership position so we can continue to fight for our clients and the class as a whole. Among our clients are environmentalists, journalists, law professors and doctors, all of whom chose Keller Rohrback because of our proven success with environmental issues and experience with the most complex corporate fraud seen in the country. Just as they did with Enron and Exxon, Keller Rohrback will pursue VW with all of their determination and experience.
